About the Walk

The Rotary Club of Romsey Test is proud of the Walk the Test Way, our annual fundraiser.  Launched in 2003, since then we've raised over (£975K) for charities.

Each year the event draws interest from many groups (e.g. scouts, schools, companies) as well as smaller groups, families and individuals who fund raise for their favourite charities, whilst walking the beautiful Test Way (see Walking in Hampshire -Test Way>).

Many return year after year:

  • The walk is suitable and fun for all ages and abilities and you're able to choose how many miles you wish to walk.

    • 25.5 miles - St Marybourne

    • 16 miles - Wherwell

    • 11 miles - Stockbridge

    • 8 miles - Horsebridge

    • 5 miles - Mottisfont

  • Walkers are bussed from Romsey to their starting location and will end the walk in Romsey's Memorial Park where there'll be a warm finish-line welcome and a medal!

  • The walk is well signposted and fully marshalled. Dogs are welcome on a short lead.

  • We want to make this year the biggest yet so get your team together and register - it's really simple >

The walk was fantastic. A huge thanks to all the Marshall's, who were so cheerful and giving encouragement to all of us. It was the first marathon I had done and the whole atmosphere was tremendous, I met so many friendly and happy people. A wonderful day, thanks to all concerned
